A beautiful morning during the season, made even more special by the bride covering her face and giving me a heart-warming smile as she made her way to the altar. The reception ceremony was bathed in the afternoon sun coming through the glass windows and I was blessed to see the sparkle in the eyes of the groom as he looked at his bride. Full photo gallery is usually 2-3 weeks depending on our schedule and size of event. Expect to receive the highlight video in 6-8 weeks, and the full film (if you have that option) is ready around that time or a little later. We have a high standard of editing, so the wait is worth it.

How many images and how much video footage do we get?Every wedding is different but for a standard Vivek Vihar wedding with our full day coverage you can expect 400-1200 fully edited photos and a short highlight film (5-7 minutes) as well as a full length film (~30-60 minutes). If it’s a multi-day wedding or you have a larger guest list, those numbers go up accordingly. We use natural light when possible to highlight the bright colours and candid interactions. We know these ceremonies so well, we’re always ready for the key moments (like the bride’s first shy smile when mehendi is applied) but still catch the little spontaneous interactions around them.

How far in advance should we book Upasna Studio Photography for our wedding? It is recommended to make a reservation in advance, ideally 6-12 months before the event. Dates fill up very fast (especially for weekends in wintertime or lucky days). This will give us plenty of time to meet, discuss your plans, and arrange any pre-wedding shoots or consultations you may wish. If you are getting married soon, please don't hesitate to contact us.

How do we secure our date, and what is your payment process? Once we have agreed on a package, we will send you a contract and invoice. A non-refundable retainer (usually 25-30% of the package price) is required to reserve your wedding date. The balance can be paid in installments with the balance due one week before the wedding or on the day of the wedding. We accept all major forms of payment, including bank transfer. We will clearly set out all the details (cancellation policy, etc.) in our agreement.
