Wave City, Ghaziabad is a unique luxury township on NH-24, with 4,200 acres of planned development and expansive green spaces. Weddings here blend modern urban comfort and lush outdoors. At Upasna Studio Photography, we approach each Wave City celebration as its own story. Whether a bride is entering a grand ballroom in Raj Nagar Extension or exchanging vows under an open sky in Wave City’s farmhouses, we adapt on the fly. We know local venue logistics – for example, that the Kalash AC Banquet & Party Lawn is right at Wave City’s main gate, so we plan our arrival to capture the groom’s baraat as it rolls in along NH-24. We understand lighting and timing: dawn shoots at Centrestage Mall or Ramprastha Greens are excellent for soft sunrise portraits, while by late afternoon we time couple portraits outdoors (wave of Indian weddings often schedule the baraat around 4–5pm). Our familiarity with local traffic flow, guest itineraries, and venue rules helps you relax and enjoy the festivities, knowing we’ll handle every shot.
Wave City couples trust our experienced team of storytellers. We don’t just “take photos” – we blend candid wedding photography with cinematic 4K film making to capture authentic emotions. From coordinating with families on WhatsApp to managing multiple rooms at a farmhouse, we keep the day smooth. For instance, we might start by photographing the bride’s morning mehendi under natural window light, move to the outdoor haldi as sunlight peaks (diffusing harsh midday yellow), then switch to indoor lighting by the evening when the dhols start. Each detail, from stage drapes to floral arches, is noted in advance. In Wave City’s exclusive venues, like farm wedding lawns or five-star hotel halls, we find the perfect backdrops — perhaps the terrace at Radisson Blu Kaushambi as the sun sets, or the modern lobby of Country Inn Sahibabad with its fountain. Our tone is calm and conversational, reassuring. No bland “special day” clichés here – just practical insight about lighting, guest flow, and décor so every shot is on point.
We are experienced with all the wedding traditions common in Ghaziabad and NCR, tailoring our coverage to each culture:
Punjabi Weddings: Full of high energy, these often start in the morning with a vibrant Haldi (turmeric) ceremony. We shoot Haldi faces up close – the bright yellow and reds are hard to miss, and we use backlighting to make the turmeric powder glow. The Baraat (groom’s procession with dhol beats) may enter on a decorated tractor or Cadillac; we time the groom’s arrival for a hero shot in the entrance arch. When the night’s Bhangra-filled Sangeet arrives, our cameras dance along with the crowd: at one wedding, we captured a moment where the entire playground of Indirapuram’s Hardy’s Park was lit by mobile-phone torches for the final song. We adapt to elaborate Punjabi stage decor: if phoolon ki chadar and indoor mandaps create strong backlight, we often place the couple slightly off-center to capture those floral details without washing them out.
Hindu (Brahmin, Vaishnav, etc.) Weddings: These feature the mandap with sacred fire and priests’ chants. We document ritual details: for example, the tying of mangalsutra or the pressing of the bride’s hands against her mother’s – subtle gestures rich in meaning. Indoor Mandap lighting can be bright (cool whites) or warm (yellow floodlights); we match our flash color temperature to the scene so the bride’s red sari always looks natural. Post-ceremony, a “vidai” (bride’s farewell) might happen at dusk; we capture tears rolling as the sky still has blush tones. Because these weddings can span multiple ceremonies, we ensure continuity: making sure the flower patterns of a Mehndi match in the Wedding album later, for instance.
Sikh Weddings: Sikh ceremonies (Anand Karaj) often take place either at a gurdwara (temple) or a converted ballroom. If at a gurdwara, natural light is plentiful, and we photograph the couple in white under ornate domes. If outdoors or in farmhouses, there’s usually a stage with Ardas prayers. We note Sikh custom to cover heads (sehra for groom, chunni for bride), so our second shooter discreetly records the moment just before the bride ties her chooda bangles or the groom adjusts his sehra. Sikh ceremonies emphasize the community (langar, collective prayer), so we include wide shots of the round eating hall (often lit by tubular daylight skylights) and candid portraits of Granny enjoying roti. Evening receptions (Shaadei parties) often feature heavy blue and purple lighting from dhol and DJ, so we use slow shutter speeds and colored gels for a cinematic vibe.
Christian Weddings: Ghaziabad has a growing Christian community. If the ceremony is in church (often in Delhi or Noida), we later cover a reception banquet. These usually have pastel décors – pinks, whites, baby blues – and traditional moments like cake cutting, bouquet toss, ring exchange. Our approach is documentary-style: we capture the vows from afar with a telephoto (so as not to distract the solemn moment) and mix it with close candid shots of church flowers and hymns. The reception might have dimmed lights and a disco ball; for those, we ramp up ISO and use sharp focus on bride/groom while letting the colorful lights blur behind. We also accommodate special traditions like a bride lowering her veil for the first kiss, or Christian couples doing their final dance – these moments get centerpiece coverage.
South Indian Weddings: Less common in Wave City, but still present (Malayali, Tamil, Telugu families). These weddings often have a morning ceremony at a temple (not usually in Ghaziabad) followed by one at a hotel or farm. The bride wears a silk saree with gold jewelry, and rituals include tying the kaasu mundu or seeing the sacred fire. We prep differently: for indoor temple lighting (bright white), we shoot from under the archways to avoid harsh shadows on the couple’s eyes. We stay attentive to customs like the groom blessing elders after the ceremony. If the next day's reception is in a banquet hall, often featuring South Indian dancers or specialty meals, we photograph the colorful decor (kolam floor art, banana-leaf spread) and traditional attire (white dhoti, vaddanam belt). Our goal is the same: to preserve the unique feel of each culture’s wedding.
Candid Photography: We document your wedding as it truly happens. Our team moves discreetly, often on two sides of the venue, to catch unposed smiles, tears, and joyous chaos. In a Ghaziabad Punjabi mehendi, that might mean capturing an impromptu dhol jam session in the lawn; in a North Indian reception, it might be the bride’s brother subtly lifting her veil. We suggest booking full-day candid coverage for a main wedding/vala, but also offer smaller packages if you only need one event (e.g. reception only).
Cinematic Videography: Beyond stills, we offer wedding films that feel like short movies. Couples often book this along with photography. Our videographers focus on storytelling: we record key audio (the saat pheras chants, the best man’s toast) and weave them together with the visuals. For example, at one Indirapuram wedding, we mixed the groom’s entry along NH-24, the bride’s slow walk into the hall, and ended with the couple’s first dance – all in a dynamic 4–6 minute film. We charge this as part of our package and typically need a cinematographer and at least two shooters to cover everything for all events.
Pre Wedding Shoot: Couples commonly book this about 3–6 months before the wedding. It’s a chance for relaxed portraits in beautiful locations, and it helps you get comfortable in front of the camera. Popular spots include the Wave City greenery (like the near-Jubilee Park garden) for morning shoots, or Indirapuram malls at sunset (such as Centrestage Mall or Ozone Mall) for urban-chic looks. Pre-wedding sessions usually last 2–4 hours, with multiple outfit changes. We prepare concept ideas (rain-themed, dance, formal outfits) or simply go candid walking-around style. Often, we turn some favorite shots into a short teaser video with background music.
Bridal Portraits: This is a focused service, often done during the Mehendi or Haldi function when the bride is getting ready. We find a quiet corner (maybe a marble staircase or near a decorative wall) to do a mini-portrait session. These highlight the bride’s makeup, jewelry, and the intricate patterns (like henna or hair flowers). A bridal portrait might include her adjusting her dupatta, or a close-up of her face in soft light. Brides often book these a few days in advance so we can plan backgrounds. These images become some of the most cherished prints, so we take extra care with lighting (window light for softness) and composition (symmetry or the rule of thirds on her face).
Mehendi Coverage: The Mehendi ceremony is lively and colorful, usually held in the afternoon 1–2 days before the wedding. Upasna’s team captures the overall scene – stalls applying henna, bridesmaids laughing, the way sunlight filters through the decorative tent (if outdoors). We also focus on detail: the bride’s hands from various angles as the artist works on them, the final unveiled pattern. Since Mehendi often involves kids playing games, we use a moderate shutter speed to capture their movement crisply. This service usually lasts 4–6 hours; couples often add it along with their main photography package if they want full documentation of pre-wedding events.
Haldi Coverage: Held the morning of or day before the wedding, Haldi (turmeric) is an intimate, messier ritual. We approach it photojournalistically: catching the elders smeared with turmeric, the bride’s face expression (both covered in yellow paste and mid-laugh). The light is typically bright (sun high in the sky), so we look for shade under a tree or verandah to shoot detail so faces aren’t squinting. Since Haldi ceremonies involve lots of movement (applying paste, throwing petals), we’re ready with wide-angle lenses and high ISO to keep these shots sharp. This service is often a 2–3 hour add-on, but can be booked standalone for small celebrations.
All services are customizable. We explain each clearly in consultations. Generally, full wedding day (candid + cinema) is booked a year in advance, bridal portraits and albums can be added later, and pre-wedding shoots are done when the couple has booked a date and knows each other’s schedule. We’ll guide you on what to book early (wedding day coverage) versus what can be decided later (e.g. add an album or drone at the last moment).

Couples in Wave City and nearby communities trust us for our blend of professionalism and local insight. We support wedding planning by suggesting ideal photo schedules (for example, advising a bride to have her mehendi party start 90 minutes early so the final portrait session catches evening light). Punctuality is a given – we arrive early for setup and keep the day on track, coordinating with venue managers to avoid any last-minute hiccups.
Our familiarity with the local area shines through. We’ve traveled all Wave City’s sectors and Ghaziabad’s estates, so we know exactly when to carry extra chargers (for a long baraat) or pack an umbrella (when summer storms are forecast). We work calmly in every situation – many guests have told us they hardly noticed the cameras because of our unobtrusive style. This calmness extends to families: we will gently guide even excited uncles who want front-row positions, all with courtesy.
Communication is transparent. We set up group chats or shared shot lists in advance, so everyone knows which formal poses are a priority. On the day, we quietly WhatsApp the family coordinator (“15 minutes until bride’s entry!”) to synchronize. Post-wedding, our editing is handled in-house by experienced editors; they ensure colors match the mood (e.g. bright for Punjabi vibrance or warm and soft for a Sikh ceremony).
Our team management is seasoned. A typical wedding has at least 2–3 crew members, and for bigger events we add an assistant or extra shooter. Everyone on our team speaks Hindi (and often Punjabi) fluently, which makes family interactions natural. We bring the highest quality gear – full-frame cameras, cinema 4K video equipment, and cinematic gimbals – but always emphasize the people, not just the gadgets. Over our 30+ years in the industry, we’ve learned that consistent, heartfelt images come from respecting your story. In Ghaziabad’s upscale Wave City community, that means delivering images as real and genuine as the moment itself.
Being based in Delhi NCR, we’ve shot countless weddings across Ghaziabad and Noida. Wave City’s climate and seasons shape our approach. Summers can be harsh, so weddings often take breaks in the hottest hours; we plan indoor schedules or shaded locations for midday ceremonies. In winter, the golden hour arrives around 4:30–5:30pm, so we grab bride-and-groom portraits outdoors then. Monsoon rains (rare as they are) always have a contingency plan – we carry umbrellas and battery-powered lighting in case equipment needs cover.
We know the layouts of local venues intimately. Many Wave City farmhouses and banquet halls have similar flows: a central stage or mandap, adjoining dining areas, and lawns or foyers for gatherings. For example, if a baraat enters through Kalash AC’s grand archway, we’ll position ourselves to catch the groom right under those pink and purple lights (as seen in photos). We scout portrait spots as soon as we arrive: a marble stairwell at a luxury hotel, a blooming vine arch in the garden, or a sculpted fountain courtyard all become natural frames. At Radisson Blu Kaushambi, we often use the reflective front glass for backlit silhouettes at dusk. At Country Inn Sahibabad, the poolside patio is perfect for a romantic evening shot with string lights.
Timing is key. In NCR, wedding rituals follow a rough schedule: Haldi by mid-morning, pheras in the late afternoon, and receptions into the evening. We sync with these. A Wave City Sikh wedding’s Anand Karaj might start at 11am, so we shoot groom preparations in natural indoor light and then capture the ceremony’s procession. A Punjabi baraat on NH-24 typically hits Wave City around sundown – we keep a long lens ready to shoot the dusty horse procession against the horizon. When traditions dictate, we adapt: for a traditional North Indian Hindu ceremony, we stay close to capture delicate rituals (tikka on the forehead, garlanding, phere) even if the priest’s paan smell lingers; for a lively mehendi function, we open our aperture wide to include dancing children and henna artists in a single candid frame.
Our deep local familiarity lets us plan smoothly with planners and families. We note nearby landmarks (e.g. “entrance near Wave City main gate”) so vendors and guests know where to find us. We know Indirapuram and Raj Nagar Extension families often come via the NH-24 highway, so we coordinate with venue traffic controllers to ensure those bridal car convoys can stop for quick doorframe shots. When the crowd surges into dining halls, we gently request a clear space for that one big family portrait, then let the celebration carry on. In short, our experience in Wave City means no surprises on photo day – just confidence that we’ll capture your wedding exactly as it unfolds.
Sunset Timing: In winter (Nov–Feb), golden hour in Ghaziabad falls around 4:30–5pm, so many weddings at farmhouses plan the pheras to start 30 minutes before sunset. We check our watches – if the couple circles the fire at 5:20pm, we know there’s a perfect half-hour for silhouette portraits by the poolside or along a hedge. In summer, golden hour creeps much later (closer to 7pm), but by then the reception lights are up, so we scout for late-evening portrait spots with floodlit fountains or lenient neighbors’ streetlights.
Stage Lighting: Many banquet halls use vivid lights on the mandap stage, which can either add drama or cause flare. We perform a quick “white balance test” when we arrive: if the groom’s white sherwani looks orange in the camera, we correct it by adjusting color or using a daylight flash. At Kalash AC, for example, their lavender uplights on the pillars can make faces appear cool; we counter this by adding a warm LED panel to one side of the stage. Large chandeliers (as at Vedanta Farm halls) sometimes cause backlight; we’ll move the couple a few feet forward, using the chandelier as a halo above them rather than overexposing it.
Mandap & Portrait Spots: Mandaps at Ghaziabad venues are often centrally located on stage. We never miss a ceremony detail (like the tying of the knot) by mapping multiple camera angles – one behind the priest, another from the side capturing relatives. Around the venue, we identify portrait nooks: perhaps a wall with ethnic murals at Vintage Banquet, or the wooden swing at Orchid Farm, or the lotus pond beside AS Royal Greens. If a hall has drapes or columns, we’ll position the couple strategically (e.g. just past a column at Pearl Grand Kaushambi for a natural frame). Outdoors, landscaped gardens are used: at one Tanushree wedding, the entire family lined up on the red-carpeted veranda for a big group picture – we lit them with a large softbox held overhead to mimic daylight on their faces.
Monsoon Backup Plan: Ghaziabad’s rains are brief. We always monitor forecasts, and if a light drizzle starts during an outdoor shoot, we swap to covered areas (many farmhouses have gazebos or porticos). During the wet monsoon, one useful trick is capturing reflections. For instance, after a quick shower, the polished stone floor outside provides a perfect reflective shot of the bride’s lehenga. We keep clear umbrellas handy: we can capture the couple under a translucent umbrella with the garden behind, for a romantic rain-kiss photo. Equipment is always secured – we have rain sleeves for cameras and quick zip bags in case of sudden downpour.
Drone Photography: Drones deliver unique perspectives, especially for sprawling venues. Many farmhouses in Ghaziabad permit drones (Amity-bound venues are strict though). If flying at say, Om Sai Farm, we coordinate with the videographer and ensure we’re not near airport paths. Approved venues like ABR have open lawns where a drone can safely take off; we’ll get a bird’s-eye view of the baraat procession or the lit reception in one sweeping shot. Remember, no drone is used during sacred ceremonies where it could distract priests or guests (for instance, we never fly one during an actual saat pheras – we got a stern reminder about that once!).
Indoor Flash Balance: Large indoor halls (like at Country Inn Sahibabad) often have high ceilings. To avoid flat portraits, we might bounce flash off the ceiling, but if it’s ornate, we aim a softbox angled toward the couple instead. A common challenge in these Ghaziabad halls is white-tile flooring creating specular highlights. We use black bounce cards or grids to prevent the ceiling’s reflection from showing up on the floor in shots of the bride’s flowing lehenga.
Crowd Movement: Indian weddings are dynamic. At Wave City farmhouses, guests dart from buffet to dance floor in a flash. We employ second shooters to roam: one stays with bride/groom, another circulates to capture candid family moments (like a little cousin sneaking a bite of ladoo) and decor details. Often, families provide shot lists; we integrate those into our coverage seamlessly. For example, if Grandpa always wants to feed the bride Haldi paste at 10:00am, our assistant stays ready with a 200mm lens well before.
Family Coordination: We’re sensitive to the multi-generational vibe at these weddings. We will greet elders in Hindi or even Punjabi with respect, as Upasna trains us to , so they’re at ease. If an auntie shyly hides during the vidai, our assistant may quietly encourage her to participate (with humour if needed). Before group shots, we politely request everyone to gather, then cue them with fun instructions (“Grandpa, give a thumbs up!” or “All kids on Uncle’s shoulders!”). We also set expectations early: we let families know that we might move cars or clear a path for that perfect composition, always smiling as we do it. Our local team’s familiarity with Wave City means relatives often recognize us from previous weddings or social media posts, which builds quick trust.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Kaushambi – This landmark five-star in nearby Kaushambi offers a grand ballroom and lush lawns. With its soaring ceilings and glass lobby, it provides dramatic venues for both ceremonies and portraits. We use the lobby’s tall windows at sunset to backlight romantic couple shots, while indoor bright-white lighting calls for subtle flash balance on faces. The outdoor fountain courtyard in front is a favorite for dignified family photos as guests arrive. The staff-run valet and parking ensure our bare-footed dhol players can get closer, so we often capture the baraat entering under the canopy with sparkling lights overhead. The golden-and-ivory décor inside blends well with our warm editing style; we might angle the bride past a pillar to frame her, or shoot wide from the balcony to include the chandeliers above.
Radisson Blu Towers, Kaushambi – Adjacent to the above, this newer hotel tower has its own banquet halls and pre-function space. Its modern architecture means sharp lines and glass facades; we often position the couple at dusk with the building’s exterior lights creating a sleek backdrop. Indoors, the flexible halls can be stripped down or draped in colors. We scout for the room with the most balanced lighting for portraits (sometimes turning off one wall of amber uplights to prevent glare). The Red Sea-colored lobby sofas are actually used in pre-wedding shoots as a relaxed lounge setting.
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sahibabad (Vaishali) – A popular Vaishali hotel just across Ghaziabad, it offers both an elegant banquet hall and a charming poolside garden. We capture pre-wedding jitters in the well-lit suite rooms, then film outdoor Haldi ceremonies under the palms by the pool (the midday sun is intense, so we control highlights to keep turmeric yellow, and look for breeze to catch flower petals). At night, the illuminated pool and patio lamps provide a soft glow for first dance or couple portraits. The ballroom’s decor is beige-and-brown, so we often use warm bounce-flash (off the ceiling) to make skin tones pop. One neat trick: during dinners, we sometimes step outside onto the landscaped terrace for dessert shots, using the town lights to add sparkle behind the couple.
Vedanta Farm – A flagship luxury banqueting destination in Ghaziabad, described as a “larger than life venue which reflects grandeur and luxury”. It features multiple themed halls (Nayaab, Jashn, Copper Leaf, etc.) and a sprawling Queen’s Lawn. Indoors, each hall’s ornate chandelier and royal decor calls for careful exposure – we might sacrifice hall detail by slightly underexposing so the bride’s lehenga doesn’t blow out against the background. Outdoors on the Queen’s Lawn, we use wide-angle lenses at sunset so the couple stands amid the glowing garden; lush bougainvillea and fountains add natural color. We’ve shot brides beneath the glass and crystal of Nayaab’s grand entrance, using off-camera flash to balance the ambient light inside. At Vedanta, crowd management is easy with multiple halls, but we still scout quiet corners (like a balcony overlooking the Spanish Bar at Jashn) for unique vantage points.
Red K Velvet Hotel & Banquet – A Raj Nagar Extension venue known for its plush interiors. The main banquet hall here features tall pillars and mirrored walls. We often angle portraits slightly to avoid our flash reflecting in columns or mirrors. The foyer can hold about 700 guests, so for a mass group shot we might step outside under the entrance arch (the venue’s decorated red carpet entrance is ideal, as seen in its photo gallery). Red K Velvet’s stage lighting usually comes in purples and golds; we’ll match our color gels to these when shooting couple portraits by the stage so skin tones stay natural. For crowd candids, we use a wide lens to encompass the entire hall, ensuring we capture the layered decor and chandelier.
Vintage Banquet (Vasundhara) – An upscale hall in Vasundhara catering to intimate affairs (100-300 guests). Its interior is relatively simple, with warm overhead lights and soft carpeting. We find family portraits are best near the side walls (to avoid ceiling light shadows) or even just outside on the venue’s entrance steps. For the bride’s close-up portrait here, we sometimes step through an exterior wooden door onto a small verandah; the natural light on the carved entrance provides a timeless frame. During reception, couples often greet guests at the floral-arched doorway, so we use our telephoto to capture that decorated entry moment through pillars, then switch to wide for a surprise broad group shot once everyone’s inside.
MBV Luxury Banquet Hall (Sahibabad) – Technically just over the river in Vaishali, MBV is a favorite of Delhi-NRI couples for its accessibility. Its conference-style halls have neutral lighting, so we emphasize candid moments. MBV also boasts a rooftop area used for cocktail hours; we shoot sunset silhouettes there with the Noida skyline behind. Indoors, we coordinate with the hall’s DJ – for example, we might turn off the house lights during key ritual shots (like the Sangeet first dance) to let our controlled flash create a cinematic effect. MBV’s lobby features tall glass doors, which we open for a dramatic bridal entry portrait as she descends the stairs into the hall.
AS Royal Greens (Sadiqpur, near Wave City) – A modern farm-style banquet lawn featuring theme-based decor. It has an outdoor plaza often decorated with fountains or sculptures. We use the structured garden elements for couple portraits at dusk: for example, lining the newlyweds on a pathway flanked by lit-up hedges and water features. Indoors, AS Royal Greens’ reception hall has a high ceiling; we try to shoot brides away from the stage spotlights to avoid harsh shadows. We’ll also take advantage of its open lawn for a full-family pagdi (turban) tying ceremony photo, using the clean sky as a backdrop.
Kalash AC Banquet & Party Lawn (Sadiqpur) – Right at Wave City’s main gate, Kalash is known for its pillar-less hall and rooftop dining area. Photos on listing show a lush pink-floral archway and crystal chandeliers. We use that decorated arch for capturing the moment the bride or groom arrives: as seen on the listing, the red carpet entrance and floral canopy make a regal frame. Inside, Kalash’s consistent warm wash of amber lights means we set our camera for a slightly cooler white balance to avoid yellow skin tones. If the dining hall has windows, we incorporate passing headlight trails in long exposures for a modern touch.
Tanushree Grand Banquet & Farms – A sprawling garden estate with a formal palace façade. Its wide entrance steps under tall pillars make a natural runway for the baraat procession. We often catch horses or decorated cars passing under those columns, lens flares from decorative floodlights on. The manicured lawns here stretch for hundreds of feet; we sometimes stage a creative “walking towards us” shot of the couple along a tree-lined path, using the golden sun filtering through leaves. Indoors, the hall’s high stage and mirrored ceiling create dramatic lines, which we exploit by shooting couple portraits from low angles (mirroring the chandelier above). If there's a fountain in the front, we’ll use slow shutter to blur its water while the couple stands still for a dreamy effect.
N R Grand Farm House – Located in Wave City itself, N R Grand is a four-star farm-hotel hybrid. It has an elegant marble courtyard and large banquet hall. We remember one wedding where, at exactly sunset, the sunlight streamed through its glass facade and wrapped the couple in a golden glow for their vivaaha-phere (ceremonial circles). Indoors, N R Grand’s hall often has a floral mandap under a chandelier. We position our main camera at about three-quarters angle so we capture everyone’s expressions around the fire, while a second shooter captures wide guest reactions. The lawns adjacent to the hall are carpeted; we use them for portrait groups, bouncing our lights off the grass for a soft, upward glow on faces.
M.R. Golden Dream Farm House (Wave City) – A Wave City venue with large lawns and a prominent stage. It’s named for its opulent setups. By late afternoon, the west-facing lawns here glow; we often do the bride’s solo portrait next to its decorative antique door or garden swing, timing the photo so the golden sun haloes her veil. For night photos, the lawn’s colored spotlights (often blue and red) can look like a dance club – we let some of that bleed into group shots for energy. Inside, the banquet hall has traditional interiors; for example, couples often get a dramatic shot with illuminated fountains behind them during dinner. We’re prepared with a ladder if needed – sometimes we climb a short podium to shoot from above, capturing everyone milling on the dance floor.
Vikrant S K Farms (NH-24) – A countryside venue with open fields and modest halls. The charm here is the greenery: we often incorporate its orchard-edge for portraits. For instance, a popular shot is having the couple walk hand-in-hand along a row of mango trees at golden hour, capturing the distance and sky as part of the frame. Indoors, Vikrant S K’s hall uses decorative spotlights, so we frequently do couples portraits just outside its doors; the hall’s silhouette against the night sky makes a dramatic couple shot. Because the halls here can be smaller, we coordinate large group poses outside on lawns rather than squeeze everyone in tight indoors.
The ABR Farms – Just outside Wave City, The ABR Farms offers a romantic venue with pond and garden set-ups. The white gazebo by the water is often used for mandap, giving it the feel of a lakeside ceremony. We take advantage: after the pheras, we’ll position the couple on the jetty so their reflection and the setting sun appear in the pond’s calm water. Indoors, its banquet halls are elegantly simple; we focus on capturing candid interactions like the father-groom handshake by a pillar. A well-known trick: The ABR often arranges hanging lanterns on its trees for reception – we stand under these for the first-dance shot, so the fairy lights form a starry backdrop above the bride and groom.
Om Sai Farm House – Located in Lal Kuan, it’s famous for hosting very large weddings (its lawns can accommodate 500–2000 guests). With such scale, we strategically stage key shots. For instance, during the bride’s entry, the vast crowd is lined up on both sides of a long carpet; we use a wide-angle lens from ground level to include everyone’s excited faces and the grand hall behind. Later in the evening, we might do a high-angle shot (from the staircase or balcony) of the circular dinner seating, to convey the gala’s magnitude. Indoors, Om Sai’s long stage hall means we split the team: one photographer gets tight shots on the stage, while another covers reactions in the audience. The sheer space also allows drone shots if permitted – a top-down view of the lawns can show patterns of lights and guests.
Q: How early should we book Upasna Studio for our Wave City wedding?
A: We recommend booking as soon as your wedding date and venue are confirmed. Popular wedding dates in winter and weekends tend to fill up quickly. Ideally, secure your photography 6–9 months in advance. Off-season (monsoon/summer) dates have more availability, but it’s best to lock us in early so we can plan around your schedule.
Q: Do you travel across NCR for weddings?
A: Yes. Upasna is based in Delhi but we cover the entire NCR, including Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurgaon, and beyond. We’ve shot in nearby cities like Agra and Jaipur as well. For local Wave City weddings, travel time is minimal. If your venue is farther (like Jaipur), we may include travel charges. But rest assured, we’ll be there at your door.
Q: Can you cover multiple venues or days in a wedding package?
A: Certainly. Our packages can include coverage of multiple events and locations. For example, if you have a Haldi at home, the wedding at a farmhouse, and a reception at a hotel, we’ll move with the schedule. We’ll plan logistics with you so our team arrives on time at each location. Extra hours or an additional crew may be needed for back-to-back events, which we discuss during booking.
Q: Is drone photography available for our wedding?
A: Yes, wherever permitted. Drones create stunning aerial shots of large venues like farmhouses. We obtain necessary permissions from the venue and pilot a licensed drone operator. That said, some spots (like near airports or certain city hotels) disallow drones. If restricted, we’ll focus on wide-angle ground shots instead. Always let us know in advance if drone footage is a must-have for you.
Q: How many photographers come with each package?
A: It depends on the package, but typically a full wedding-day package includes 2 photographers. One focuses on the bride-side and one on the groom-side, then we come together for ceremonies. Larger packages (e.g. destination weddings or 3-day events) can include 3 or more shooters. We tailor the team size to your needs; for example, a basic package with one event might only have 1 photographer, whereas a lavish package will have a lead shooter, second shooter, and videographer.
Q: What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
A: We’re prepared for rain. In Ghaziabad, showers can be brief but intense. We carry clear umbrellas and waterproof covers for cameras. If you planned an outdoor shoot and it starts raining, we quickly pivot to a dry location (perhaps a covered gazebo or indoor hall). Often, wedding venues have a backup indoor area – we scout this beforehand. Some of our favorite shots have actually been in light rain (people under umbrellas, petals floating), which add drama. Safety of guests and gear is our priority, so if it pours, we focus on indoor candid shots until it clears.
Q: How long does editing and delivery take?
A: For still photos, we usually deliver the edited album and high-resolution images within 4–6 weeks after the wedding. For video, expect a highlight teaser in 1–2 weeks, and the full wedding film in 8–10 weeks. We work quickly but carefully – each photo is retouched (color-corrected, cropped) by our team. You’ll receive digital proofs to review, so any feedback is always welcome.
Q: Do you provide wedding albums and prints?
A: Yes, we offer premium printed albums and canvas prints as add-ons. These are custom-made with high-quality photographic paper and leather or velvet covers. Couples usually choose album prints after seeing the final photos. If you want an album as part of your package, let us know and we can include it up-front. Otherwise, post-wedding you can pick your favorite shots for the album design.
Q: Can we customize the wedding photography package?
A: Absolutely. The table above shows standard starting packages, but every package is flexible. You can add extra hours, more photographers, an engagement shoot, drone coverage, or special prints. We’ll work with you to adjust the details so the package matches your exact needs and budget. Don’t hesitate to ask for changes – we do this every day and are happy to tailor our offerings.
Q: Do you cover small or intimate weddings and events?
A: Yes, we love shooting intimate gatherings just as much as big fat weddings. Small ceremonies (50 people or fewer) allow us to be very unobtrusive and personal. Our approach is more like a creative portrait session in that case. You can book a scaled-down package (even just 2–3 hours coverage) for functions like engagement or ring ceremonies. We treat every event with equal care, no matter the size.
Q: Are you open to cultural or non-traditional events?
A: Definitely. We welcome all types of ceremonies (traditional or modern). If you have unique traditions or a fusion event, we will learn about them beforehand to capture what’s important. Our team has experience with Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, Muslims, South Indians and more, so cultural sensitivity comes naturally. We just need you to inform us of any special customs so we can be at the right place with the right lens at the right time.

The laughter, the quiet glances, the unscripted tears, and the joyful chaos of celebration are all transformed into timeless visual memories that you can relive forever.
At Upasna Studio Photography, we are a passionate team of visual storytellers who believe every wedding has a soul of its own. Recognized among the finest candid wedding photographers in Delhi NCR, we specialize in blending candid photography and cinematic 4K film production into one seamless experience. Our work goes beyond documentation. We observe, we feel, and we translate real emotions into artistic frames that feel alive even years later. From candid pre-wedding shoots to documentary-style wedding story telling and high-end cinematic wedding films, we ensure every detail reflects authenticity and elegance. What truly defines us is our approach. We don’t arrive at an event as outsiders we immerse ourselves in it. We take time to understand your chemistry, your personality, and your story. This connection allows us to capture moments in their purest, most natural form—unposed, emotional, and deeply personal.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of traveling across India, documenting weddings that beautifully showcase the country’s diversity, culture, and traditions. From the grand celebrations of New Delhi to the royal palaces of Rajasthan and the serene beachside weddings of Goa, each destination has added a new dimension to our storytelling. Every location brings its own light, mood, and emotion—and we embrace it all. For us, distance is never a limitation; it is an opportunity to discover new stories, new cultures, and new emotions waiting to be framed. Wherever your story takes place, we are ready to travel with you, capture it with heart, and turn it into a cinematic memory that lasts a lifetime.
