• Punjabi Wedding: There is bright colours and energetic celebrations. We focus on the groom and his energetic Baraat (arriving in a vintage car or in a procession with dhol and visuals) capturing him from all the possible angles. If the Anand Karaj is held in town, it’s a tradition-heavy event: Milni (meeting of families) is photographed candidly, with relatives exchanging greetings, while Jaimala (exchanging of flower garlands) is photographed with long telephoto lenses. This evening takes us into the world of the Sangeet and its fierce dance competition under strobe lights where a fast lens and a higher ISO setting come in handy. After all, Punjabi weddings tend to go very late into the night – so we keep our photographer on site till 3AM”

• Hindu Weddings: We document every sacred moment – from the Haldi ceremony at home (using warm, diffused light to bring out the turmeric’s vibrancy) to the Phere (saptapadi). During pheras, we often stand opposite the mandap to capture the bride’s expressions through the pooja thali’s haze, and we circle around to photograph the groom’s determined stride. Best portraits in the grand lobby, or on the pool deck which is beautiful at sunset. When it’s up to 3,000 guests, we often split our team in two, with one photographer on the stage and one capturing the guest moments from the back so no moment is missed. The Radisson’s neutral tones and greenery will complement the bright lehengas and sherwanis, so couples will stand out sharply against the backdrop.

Radisson Blu Towers, Kaushambi Like its sister property, Towers Kaushambi boasts of spacious halls and a bright ballroom atmosphere. We use its mirrored columns and marble floors for reflective portraits. We also schedule early evening couple sessions by the pool at both Radissons which have extensive terrace and pool areas using the water and city lights to create cinematic silhouettes.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sahibabad: This hotel’s indoor banquet and the attached courtyard is famous for the strong noon sunlight that streams in through the glass ceilings. We do a lot of high contrast family portraits in the courtyard and under a portable diffused softbox. Inside the lighting is cooler and we position our cameras so that we do not shoot directly into the central chandelier, but use side angles to capture the lighting on the tables and stage elegantly. The decor is modern and understated, so photo sessions tend to focus on candid shots near the entrance and the lush garden.

Radisson Hotel, Noida: A favourite 5-star nearby with dark-paneled halls and a rooftop lawn. If you're getting married here, we suggest a portrait session later in the afternoon on the terrace (the setting sun creates a beautiful backlight). The ballroom inside is a dramatic scene with ornate curtains and crystal chandeliers – we prefer wide-angle during the speeches and tight close-ups at dinner to show the ambiance. Radisson Noida’s upscale vibe matches luxury clothing and supports elaborate mandap arrangements; we often use standing flash to fully light up the mandap colors during ceremonies.

Luxury Banquet Halls

Wow Ceremonial Banquet (Indirapuram) - One of the most liked mid-sized hall with bright stage LED panels. The mood lighting is always changing, so we have the cameras set to continuous focus to catch all the dance moves. The lobby is wonderful for portraits, warm and inviting, so as guests arrive we quickly do the family formal shots (using off-camera flash for even exposure). The crowd flow at Wow Ceremonial is simple – just funneling everyone into one main hall so we can anticipate guest locations. The decor is full of reds and golds that warm up skin tones beautifully; we just watch for any glare off the shiny floor.

Golden Castle Banquets (Jaipuria Mall, Indirapuram): Located above Jaipuria Mall, this luxurious hall is in Ahinsa Khand. It can seat about 250 on tables (500 standing). Traditionally the stage is lit with floodlights of gold. In practice, we compensate for this by keeping our ISO low and using flash on relatives with dark skin under the stage lights. There are loads of photo ops at the stairwell entry and the indoor balcony, but we have to be aware of the overhead mall lighting reflecting in guests’ eyes. For couple sessions, we love the rooftop (weather permitting) or the mall’s vaastu-inspired fountain area at dusk, which offers romantic blue-hour ambiance against the city lights.

The Monarch Banquets (Ahinsa Khand 1, Indirapuram): A multi hall banqueting hall having 3 halls of max 500 people capacity. Each has a different stage direction. We frequently set up the same photographer back to back at two simultaneous events (eg Sangeet in Hall 2, wedding in Hall 1). The walls are ivory, the lighting a soft amber, perfect for natural portraits with little flash. It’s moderately decorated, mostly draping, so we take family portraits down its long red carpeted aisles. Guests often gather around the entrance, and we use that area (and the small foyer) for candid shots while people are mixing. The Monarch is next door to Ambrosia Palace so we sometimes do combined shoots at both places.

The Grand Piazza (Vasundhara-Indirapuram Highway): Largest open lawn in East Delhi. Lawn 1 and Lawn 2: These are the big green lawns, which can host upto 1,300 guests. We'll shoot wide-angle golden-hour portraits among its trees and fountains. In terms of lighting, natural light is the key – by late evening we are relying on the venue’s uplights and our flash units to maintain colour. The entrance shots are spectacular: the gated entrance off the highway cuts through gaps of hedges, providing a natural framing device for car entrances. For couple portraits we take advantage of the sprawling lawns to utilize drones and wide compositions – often flying low around the newlyweds at sunset, capturing the remaining sun rays behind them. Rain backup is a must here, we pre-scout the indoor party plot (covered area of Lawn 2) and keep it on standby for ceremonies or dances.

Wow Palace Banquet (Indirapuram): A grand banquet hall on the second floor of Jaipuria Mall. The high ceiling hall and bright flower decorations lend themselves to saturated rich photos. The stage is lit with royal purple and pink lights; we offset it with a mix of daylight-balanced flash, so that the skin tones remain natural. Family photos on the stairs leading to the stage entrance always pop against the red carpet. Most of the crowd flow is counter-clockwise around the central hall, so with this in mind we place videographers and photographers on opposite sides and avoid colliding.

Orchid Farms, Indirapuram (Banquet + Lawn) A premium venue with a big green carpeted lawn and covered banquet hall, Orchid Farms (near CISF Camp Road) has a grand entrance courtyard. The open space of the lawn lends itself to natural, airy portrait shoots during the day. The golden hour here is amazing – we normally do a couple shoot near the lit up palm trees or under the traditional Indian chhatris (gazebos) on the lawn. The indoor hall has a high decorated ceiling so dance shots from the center are full of sparkles. We also photograph ceremonies at its mandap (often on the lawn); as the sun goes down, we fire up our off-camera strobes to balance the stage leds. However, Orchid is an indoor/outdoor space and if it rains (monsoon season), we can shift the ceremonies indoors without compromising on aesthetics.” The venue’s capacity (~1,200 guests) also means that we split our team (two photographers, one videographer) to cover both bride and groom getting ready on opposite sides so we don’t miss any moment.

The Grand Palace Banquet (Shakti Khand 2, Indirapuram): A sprawling complex of halls, all decked out in rich red-and-gold decor. The stage is often lit in royal blue light. We prepare by bringing an extra orange gel to match our flash to the warm environment. Its lobby is of polished marble, providing clean, glossy backgrounds for portraits. Wings of this venue make it easy to break out ceremonies by event – e.g. Sindoor Daan at one mandap in Hall 1 and Phere in Hall 2. We will divide our crew to cover both haldi and pheras simultaneously and use radio triggers to keep the cameras in sync. The stage steps at The Grand Palace are another popular place for entry shots (couple coming up the steps) with the venue name lit up nicely behind them.

Farmhouses & Lawns

Raj Vilas Farmhouse: A scenic venue with courtyard gardens and antique decor. We plan couple portraits near its fountain or under bougainvillea arches – local brides love how these spots pop with bridal red and gold lehengas. The morning mist on the garden hedges can add a dreamy haze for outdoor shoots. Indoors, Raj Vilas’s dim amber lighting means we either boost ISO slightly or do short-gallery to keep shots sharp. If guests do a daytime outdoor mehndi, we shoot lively candid and macro shots of the mehndi patterns in sunlight.

Orchid Farms (Farmhouse setting): Although it’s called a banquet, Orchid Farms also feels like a farmhouse with its lawn and garden corners. If a couple opts for a night torchlight ceremony, the open-air setting allows dramatic backlighting; we’ll light the scene with off-camera LEDs to highlight the couple against the dark lawn.

Farm House Noida (e.g. Ambrosia Manor, Cloud Nine, etc.): Technically outside Indirapuram but often used by Indirapuram couples, these are sprawling estates. We treat them similarly to farmhouses – very open, great for drone fly-bys over the ceremony circle.
