Banquet halls can be difficult to light, with bright spots on stage and dark corners. We adapt. If necessary, we bring our own lighting gear. For instance, the walls of The Oreanns Banquet in Tilak Nagar are mostly made of glass, which provides us with “abundant sunlight” during the daytime which is ideal for warm natural portraits. The same hall at night, filled with coloured LEDs. We fill in light gently with a soft flash so the bride’s lehenga retains its sheen and the groom’s sherwani looks as colorful as you remember. Oreanns Banquet (Tilak Nagar)

Oreanns Banquet Hall Natural Light The Oreanns is a magnificent landmark at Tilak Nagar with giant glass walls. Those windows are great for flooding the space with warm light during the day, so I love taking the couple’s portrait near a pillar under the afternoon sun (no flash needed). The stage area is contemporary and spacious, at night awash with magenta and blue uplighting. Here we capture your first dance and baraat entrance with a dynamic flash balance to keep the skin tones natural under the LED's. The red-carpeted entrance also makes a nice shot of your baraat arriving (horses or bikers) under strings of marigolds. We also sneak outside when we can. The ornate doorway of the foyer or the landscaped gardens can provide chic couple shot with subtle city background.

The Grand Horizon Banquet (Kirtinagar)

The dusk on the terrace of the Grand Horizon Banquet. The Grand Horizon at Kirti Nagar is only a short drive away and has four huge halls (up to 600 guests) and a lovely outdoor terrace. Often we whisk the couple off to the rooftop terrace (as above) at sunset after the ceremony, or in between events. It’s a mini-escape for intimate portraits, with the skyline behind you, under soft string lights. Grand Horizon has a modern glass lobby inside, and marble staircases. We’ve done dramatic group shots on those stairs, and chandelier shots with the wedding party dancing below. With so much space to work with, I can shoot wide-angle shots of your entire baraat procession coming in and then zoom in for detail shots of your bridal bouquet or sari embroidery later.

Andaaj Mansion, Kirti Nagar

Andaaj Mansion is a tasteful banquet hall perfect for medium to large weddings (150–500 guests). The indoor stage boasts warm wood and gold accents (above) and is perfect for classic bridal portraits. As the stage lights dim, we add a touch of off-camera fill-flash to keep skin tones rich and eyes bright. The hall itself is comfortable and well decorated making candids of dancing or aunties hugging seamless. After pheras, we use Andaaj’s marble foyer and pillars (or their outdoor garden if the weather permits) as photo spots. It’s not quite as large as SK Precious, so I can work the audience at eye level and still catch all the smiles.

Saltstayz Premier [West Delhi]

Saltstayz Premier is a boutique-style hotel banquet in Paschim Vihar, good for small wedding functions like Haldi and Mehendi (capacity ~150 guests on the rooftop). It’s almost like a private country house on the edge of the city. The terrace for sunset pictures is the highlight. Inside, the rooms are warm and inviting. We take advantage of the hotel lobby’s decor for smaller engagement shots (i.e., chandelier, elegant sofas). For smaller guest lists, you’ll get even more creative freedom – we can stop for an extra pose or grab a spontaneous shot without feeling rushed.

Mehak Wedding Banquet (Punjabi Bagh)

Mehak is known for managing big Punjabi weddings. The hall can accommodate up to 500 guests and even has a lush lawn. I have even used that lawn for full-on baraat shoots. Picture the groom’s party dancing under the open sky with your whole entourage behind them. Indoors, Mehak's halls are bright & airy. The architecture (pillars and arches) allows me to have fun with symmetry... you standing under an arch with all the fairy lights above you, for example. After the ceremony, head outside to the adjoining garden area (mentioned in Mehak’s profile) for a breath of fresh air and pretty greens to click relaxed family photos. The staff is very cooperative, and generally speaking, there is a smooth transition from indoor mandap to outdoor portraits.

SK Precious Banquet (Janakpuri)

SK Precious near Janakpuri is huge; they advertise a capacity of 100 to 1000. If you’re planning a grand-scale wedding, this venue has the space for it. We can get wide shots of the entire baraat train or big family pictures with everyone in one frame. The stage is huge, with dancers often in every corner, so we use multiple angles: close-ups for couples' expressions and crane-style overhead shots for scale (if allowed). It’s big, but we make it personal by zooming in on details: I crouch by the food counter to capture the aromatic chole-chawal up close or lean in among the dhol players during the reception for those candid drum-beat smiles.

Aeriana Janakpuri

Another big Janakpuri venue, The Aeriana, can host 80-600 guests. There are indoor halls and an outside courtyard. A favorite shot is the couple’s silhouette under its giant chandelier or at the top of a sweeping staircase. The lobby with its marble floor is bathed in daylight, perfect for taking glam mirror portraits of the bride and her party. At night, the Aeriana is often alight with pink and purple lights. We use warmer gels and slower shutter speeds to create a dreamy, festive glow on your dance floor shots that won’t wash out the colors.

• What’s included in a full wedding package? Typically, it includes all your events (Mehndi, Sangeet, Haldi, wedding, and reception) with candid photography and/or videography. We provide high-resolution digital images and a highlight video.
• Do you charge extra for travel or big venues? For venues within Delhi NCR (Tilak Nagar, Rajouri, Dwarka, and even Aerocity), we cover travel. If your wedding is farther away (Punjab, Goa, etc.), travel and lodging costs would be added but discussed up front. We usually clarify this before you book.
• We’re a bit camera-shy. Will you pose us? Absolutely. We’re not about stiff ancient-portrait poses – just simple, natural directions. We might ask you to lean into each other and whisper something funny, or guide you both to look at the sunset. We do a mix of guided photos and candid shots; often once you see the relaxed first few pictures we take, you forget the camera is there.
• How long until we see our photos/film? We typically send a handful of sneak-peek images via WhatsApp within a day or two (so you don’t have to wait months). All fully edited photos are delivered around 2–3 weeks after your wedding. Highlight videos take a bit longer – usually 4–6 weeks – since there’s sound editing and music syncing. We’ll stick to our promised timeline (on time service is something our clients love).
• What if we want film as well as photos? Our photography and videography teams coordinate so you’re always covered. We can provide just photos, just video, or both. Most couples go for the combo (and often get a discount package). Rest assured, we don’t fight over scenes – each team knows the other is there. Your album will have beautiful still images and a polished highlight film (and full-length footage if requested).
• What about destination weddings or outstation shoots? We travel! If you dream of a wedding at a resort, we happily tag along (we’ve done Goa, Jim Corbett, you name it). We treat it like any shoot: we plan the daylight hours and slot in portrait sessions so you still feel relaxed.
